Department of Political Science

Department of Political Science is successfully running Under Graduate course (B.A. Pass Course/Regular) and MA History two years course. The department of Political Science teaches Political Science syllabus prescribed by Punjabi University, Patiala. It covers the teaching classes from the evolution of the Ancient Man with the inception of human civilization in India and the world. These classes have been divided into six semesters within the three-year course. We are running two methods of teaching in our college. i.e. theory and practical classes. The theory classes run in classrooms to using black/whiteboards and through PPT slides. Some of our graduates have also gone into High School education, providing the region with highly trained Political Science teachers.

Students Intake:
Pre-requisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the +2 examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).

Admission will be based on merit of Qualifying Exam and will be in offline mode in the department.
