Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics offers B.A programme. The department has consistently results with hundred percent pass percentage in university examinations. The faculty of Mathematics is specialized in varied aspects of Mathematics - in areas like Micro Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Marketing Mathematics, Taxation and Corporate/Business Laws and International Business Mathematics. The curriculum of Mathematics education is highly application-oriented, hence, the department follows multidimensional pedagogy for different programs that consists of lectures, tutorials, individual presentations, group presentations, seminars, workshops, group discussions, assignments, projects, extension lectures on emerging issues and industry interactions. The department is endowed with committed staff that provides an enabling environment to the students who bring laurels to the college in academics as well as in co-curricular activities.

Students Intake:
Pre-requisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the +2 examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability). Admission will be based on merit of Qualifying Exam and will be in offline mode in the department.
