Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce offers B.Com programme and holds a prime place among the leading commerce departments of the region. The department has consistently bagged excellent results with hundred percent pass percentage in university examinations. The faculty of commerce is specialized in varied aspects of Commerce and Management - in areas like Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Taxation and Corporate/Business Laws and International Business. The curriculum of commerce education is highly application-oriented, hence, the department follows multidimensional pedagogy for different programs that consists of lectures, tutorials, individual presentations, group presentations, seminars, workshops, group discussions, assignments, projects, extension lectures on emerging issues and industry interactions. The department is endowed with committed staff that provides an enabling environment to the students who bring laurels to the college in academics as well as in co-curricular activities.

Programs Offered
B.Com.(3years) Students Intake:
Pre-requisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the +2 examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability). Admission will be based on merit of Qualifying Exam and will be in offline mode in the department.
