  • Classes & Time Table
    All the odd Roll Nos. would be in Section A & the even Roll Nos. would be put in Sec-B. The classes would start at 9.20 A.m.
    The recess would take place after the fifth period. The time table would be notified to the students in the beginning of this session.
     
  • House Examinations:-
    During the Academic year the first house examinations would be held in January and the second house examinations in April; Every student is required to get minimum 20%.
    If any student remains absent or could not score the required minimum marks he would not be able to appear in the annual examinations.
     
  • Library:-
    The college has a well equipped library having approx. 5000 books. A student can borrow only two books at a time for two weeks. If a student does not return the book in time he is fined as per rules. If the book is lost the student has to pay the actual price of the book. A student can borrow a book from the library only if she has an identity card.

  • N.S.S-
    There is one unit of 25 students in N.S.S. A part from the manual work the students learn hard work, sacrifice, respect for others feelings of love & devotion. All these things help in the all round development of the personality of a student

  • Cultural Activities:--
    Many cultural activities are organized in the college at different occasions. The students are encouraged to participate in all these activities. During the session 2005-06 in the zonal youth festival our students won two gold Medals & two Silver Medals.
     
    •
  • Sports & Games—
    There are provisions for various games like volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis etc in the college. The students also participate in different events of Athletics sports & games compulsory for all students.

  • College Magazine:--
    During the academic year a college magazine ‘AKLIA’ is Published, the students & the teachers contributed with their original & creative writings.

  • Hostel:--
    There is provision for Hostel of Modern facilities in the S.S.D College for girls in Bathinda. The students who want to stay in the hostel should contact the Hostel warden.
     
  • Their is the language lab in the college. the students can get benefit from this lab.
     
  • The college also provides computer Education.
     
  • Morning Assembly:-
    A morning prayer is conducted daily in the college. All the students are required to be present in the morning assembly.
